Question by Victor · Nov 27, 2018 at 12:18 PM · transfer devicechange device of group

Transfer device from one group to another group

Hi,

In my company, two different groups were created: one for the Certification program contract and another group for the already certified devices. ("Intalados" y "Pruebas")

The problem has arisen when we detected that some of the devices are "Off Contract". In order to make them work, we need to transfer these devices to the other group in which we have the active contracts. With the transfer function that exists in the Backend it is not possible, this only allows moving a device from one contract to another but from the same group. That is why I had to remove the device and try to create it as a new one in the desired group.

This procedure has failed because the backend does not allow me to create it, it tells me that the PAC code is not correct. I have tried to register it with the PAC that the manufacturer of the module gave me and also with the PAC with which the module was registered in the Backend, and there has been no success with any of them.

The Id of the module is: 00202D2D.

Manufacturer's PAC: 4AEF2D809EFA334E.

Sigfox PAC before deleting device: BD31DEEF2247C978

Hi @Victor,

On the backend you should have a section "Deleted Devices" under the Devices page. Could you double check the PAC values there and try again?

Best,

Aurelien
