The timings associated with downlinks are very long (referencing timing chart below....total of 49 seconds after end of first frame)...and cause battery drain. I am trying to minimize battery drain during downlinks.
What options exist for minimising current drain? Refer to the diagram below:
Can devices be put to sleep (or power removed completely) during the 20 second wait time (minus the time for the last 2 frames) ?
How about during the 25 second window? If the downlink arrives after say 20 seconds, can the device be put to sleep immediately after downlink arrival?
How about the additional 4 seconds. Is it imperative to remain on for this period also?

During the first 20s, the Sigfox library allows you to put your device in Sleep mode (used by most manufacturers).
Regarding the last 25s, your device can be shut down 4s after reception of the downlink data (The 4 seconds are mandatory for the OOB to be sent).
